Woofy and Woofs are some of the most beloved animals at the Animal House. Their sweet personalities and playful demeanors make them impossible to ignore! They came here very early on (when the Animal House was just starting) and were some of the very first large stuffies! Smaller animals had to learn not to stand in their way, because they might get stepped on! But no one holds it against them, and everyone (even Gigantor) loves cuddling up to their soft fur at night. Some of their best friends are Bo, Snicky, and Boty!
These two woof brothers love spending time outside playing simple games, like fetch and chasing their tails! Once, Woofs was so energetic that he actually snagged his tail. He then got stuck, unable to free himself, so Hamlet had to intervene and coax him free. Sometimes, after school with their friends, they play dog four square, which involves bouncing the ball with your mouth and tail. They make accommodations for animals like Bo, who don't have as large of tails. Finally, Woofy and Woofs also enjoy inventing their own games!
Ever since we were little, we have dreamed of starting our own game company together. We won't be designing board games or video games, though. Instead, Barker Brothers will introduce new outdoor games to the world! We hope to manufacture some toys to go along with their games, but it's mainly just the idea that counts.
Our first hit idea was "FETCH! 2.0." This game involves a robotic ball (still in the making) chasing the players around the field! The ball can even fly up in the air to tag players when they jump. We think that this game is very fun, because it allows the players to be more active and practice important skills like jumping and dodging obstacles (the ball).
The next game invented by the Barker Brothers, and may we say a VERY popular one, is called "Tug of War Escape!" You must play many games of tug of war cooperatively with a partner to accomplish tasks, like getting over a fence or delivering a treat at the end! In your "Tug of War Escape!" packet, you usually receive many coils of rope, a couple of balls, a bag of treats, and much more that allows you to build your own escape course!
Other games of ours include "Frisbee Ultimate Tag" and "Chase That Squirrel's Tail" (a mash up of chase your tail and catch that squirrel!). We hope you enjoy playing them!!!
