IN THE ANIMAL HOUSEHOLD

Buster Gray

Brilliant Buster Gray!

Buster Gray came to the Animal House the same year as Gigantor and Rocky, his son. He didn't know Gigantor, but quickly developed a special bond with him and Hamlet. They sing together at church, and all teach at Animal Elementary. Buster Gray teaches the 4th grade class and will move up to also teach 5th grade when students get up to that level. He mostly enjoys teaching math and discussing different problems and solutions with his students. Buster Gray loves his students, and although he shouldn't pick favorites, especially enjoys having Flash and Rocky in his class.

He loves spending time with his son, Rocky, especially watching tv, playing games, and eating sweets. Rocky is also in his class, so they spend a lot of time together. They enjoy playing scavenger hunt games where they find clues that lead to a prize. Rocky sometimes makes them for Buster Gray, and sometimes he makes them for Rocky. Most of the prizes consist of homemade things that Buster Gray loves getting.

Pranks Kids Have Played on Him, and Pranks He's Played Back!

In my time as a teacher, I have come across many students who were pranksters! Here are the top three pranks kids have played on me, and how I responded!

  • Chico and Bobby: These students are always making trouble for me, and for April Fool's Day, they replaced my morning coffee with dog poop! Can you believe it? Well, I'll tell you that they didn't get away with that unpunished! The next day, I switched out the apples in their lunches for onions! I'm the teacher after all!
  • Fred and George: These two mischievous cheese curds have always been a big pain in my butt. Literally. One day, they put super glue on my chair! I couldn't get out of it for another 3 whole days! However, they never attempted it again with a little persuading. I was forced to do one of my best dog farts right before they entered the room, and let's just say, they could never get the smell out of their noses.
  • Baby E.: He used to be my top student. Then one day, he crossed the line. I was late for class and the bell was about to ring. I was hurrying so fast that I didn't see the net of sticky string strung across the door. I ended up hanging upside down, with my underpants draped across my nose. Then I saw him, the bright blue menace, standing with his trunk wrapped around the string. "April Fools!" he said, grinning. We're still friends, but I have to say, now he is very wary around me when it gets close to April!
